Baldivis is a rapidly growing residential suburb located approximately 46 kilometres south of Perth and 11 kilometres south-east of Rockingham, within the City of Rockingham local government area. At the 2021 Census, it had a population of 37,697 — up from 31,653 in 2016 — making it one of Western Australia's fastest-growing communities. The suburb has a young demographic, with a median age of just 31, and is dominated by new residential estates attracting young families. It covers a large 87 square kilometres of the Greater Perth area.
Baldivis is a family-oriented suburb with a strong community infrastructure, including 13 local schools such as Baldivis Secondary College, Mother Teresa Catholic College, and Ridge View Secondary College.
