Berry Mountain is a small rural locality in the City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, situated along the Kangaroo Valley Road between the towns of Berry and Kangaroo Valley. With just 29 residents at the 2021 census, it covers approximately 6.6 square kilometres of the escarpment rising above the South Coast. Located around 23 kilometres north of Nowra and 160 kilometres south of Sydney, it sits within one of the most scenically beautiful parts of the Illawarra Escarpment.

Berry Mountain is surrounded by lush Shoalhaven hinterland, dense bushland, and the sweeping landscapes leading down to the South Coast. The locality appeals to those seeking a quiet semi-rural retreat, with the charming village of Berry (approximately 8 km) offering boutique shopping, award-winning restaurants, galleries, and weekly markets. Nowra to the south provides full urban services including hospitals, large supermarkets, and schools, while Kangaroo Valley to the north is a popular tourist destination known for its historic sandstone bridge and verdant valley.
