Bucasia is a coastal suburb of Mackay in the Mackay Region of Queensland, located approximately 16 kilometres north of Mackay CBD. With a population of around 4,900 residents, it is one of Mackay's most popular beachside communities. The suburb sits at a low elevation near sea level and has been recognised as one of the most affordable beachside suburbs in Queensland.

Bucasia offers a relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle centred around the beautiful Bucasia Beach, which stretches for kilometres along the coastline. Dolphin Heads, at the northern end of the beach, is a popular attraction for wildlife spotting.
