About Creswick
Creswick is a historic gold rush town in west-central Victoria, 18 km north of Ballarat and 122 km northwest of Melbourne. With a population of around 3,300 residents at 430 metres elevation, this picturesque town retains its 19th-century character with heritage buildings, wide streets, and a strong community spirit. Popular attractions include the monthly Creswick Market, Blue Waters lake (a stunning former mine), and extensive mountain bike trails. Creswick appeals to families, retirees, and tree-changers seeking affordable regional living with easy access to Ballarat's services.
