Currumbin is a beautiful coastal suburb on the southern Gold Coast, located 11 kilometres northwest of Tweed Heads and about 23 kilometres south of Surfers Paradise. With a population of around 3,300, this relaxed beachside community sits between Currumbin Creek to the north and the scenic headland bushland of Currumbin Hill Conservation Park. The suburb is perhaps best known as home to the famous Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, a 27-hectare National Trust property and one of Queensland's top tourist attractions.
