Gheerulla is a small rural locality nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland of Queensland, situated in the Mary River Valley and largely contained within the Mapleton National Park, which extends into neighbouring Belli Park and Cooloolabin. Part of the Sunshine Coast Region local government area, Gheerulla covers around 80 square kilometres of mountainous terrain with picturesque streams and lush subtropical vegetation.
