Goorganga Plains is a largely uninhabited coastal locality in the Whitsunday Region of Queensland, situated approximately 9 kilometres south of Proserpine and 116 kilometres northwest of Mackay. The 2021 census recorded no permanent population in the locality, which covers around 107 square kilometres of low-lying coastal floodplain and agricultural land near the Conway Range. The area sits within the broader Whitsunday region, one of Queensland's most iconic tourism destinations.
