Kensington is a charming inner-eastern suburb of Adelaide, located just 5 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters. With a population of around 1,800, this compact 0.5 km² suburb is known for its distinctive diagonal street layout, heritage buildings, and leafy streetscapes. The suburb was first surveyed in 1838 and named after Kensington Palace in London, making it one of Adelaide's earliest established areas.
