Lorquon is a tiny rural locality in western Victoria's Mallee region, situated approximately 388 kilometres north-west of Melbourne and within the Shire of Hindmarsh local government area. The locality lies near the Wimmera–Mallee borderlands, a landscape defined by open farmland, mallee scrub, and wide skies typical of Victoria's far west. With just 8 residents recorded in the 2021 Census, Lorquon is one of the smallest localities in Victoria, existing primarily as a rural address locality serving surrounding agricultural properties.
