Mount Hawthorn is a popular inner suburb of Perth, located just 5 km north of the CBD within the City of Vincent. The suburb had a population of 8,183 at the 2021 census, growing 8.4% since 2016. Established in 1903, it is named after Hawthorn in Melbourne by early developer James Hicks. The area features a mix of character homes and modern infill on leafy, quiet streets.
