Mount Tarampa is a rural locality in the Somerset Region of south-east Queensland, situated approximately 81 kilometres west of Brisbane and 41 kilometres north-west of Ipswich CBD. Covering around 31 square kilometres, the locality had a 2021 Census population of 501 residents and is characterised by open farmland, gentle hills, and the natural setting of the Lockyer Creek catchment. The surrounding area is known as the Lockyer Valley, a productive agricultural corridor that supplies much of south-east Queensland's fresh produce.
