Narrabri is a regional town in north-western New South Wales, located approximately 550 kilometres north-west of Sydney within the Narrabri Shire local government area. Despite a population of around 7,300, its gazetted area spans a vast 1,294 square kilometres, encompassing the township and surrounding rural land in the fertile Namoi Valley.
