Nevertire is a small rural village in the Warren Shire local government area of western New South Wales, located at the junction of the Mitchell Highway and the Oxley Highway, approximately 496 kilometres north-west of Sydney and 19 kilometres south-west of Warren. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 135, down from 225 in 2011, reflecting the ongoing population drift from small inland communities. Sitting at an elevation of 199 metres on the vast western plains, Nevertire covers an extensive 677 square kilometres of predominantly grazing and cropping land.

The village's name and location at a major highway junction give it some passing-trade character, and it retains the essential infrastructure of a small inland community. Residents rely on Warren (approximately 19 kilometres to the north-east) and the larger regional centre of Dubbo (about 107 kilometres south-east) for services, medical facilities, and shopping.
