Parkwood is a residential suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, situated approximately 11 kilometres north-west of Surfers Paradise and 8.7 kilometres from Southport. With a population of 8,837 at the 2021 census, it is one of the more established northern Gold Coast suburbs, developed primarily over the past three decades. The suburb is characterised by leafy, green streets, well-kept gardens and largely owner-occupied detached homes, with a density of around 1,578 people per square kilometre. Parkwood sits within the federal division of Fadden and the state electorate of Bonney.

Parkwood offers a relaxed, family-oriented lifestyle with the Parkwood Golf Course on Napper Road serving as a focal point for outdoor recreation, alongside the Brushwood Ridge Reserve for bush walks.
