Soldiers Hill is a residential suburb of Mount Isa in Queensland's remote north-west, located 3.8 kilometres north of the town centre and 1,829 kilometres from Brisbane. With a population of around 1,800, it's one of the 'mineside' suburbs west of the Leichhardt River. The suburb features higher median incomes reflecting the prevalence of mining industry workers in the area.
The suburb is bounded by the Barkly Highway to the west and the Leichhardt River to the east.
