About Trungley Hall
Trungley Hall is a small rural locality situated approximately 18 kilometres north of Temora in the Riverina region of New South Wales, within the Temora Shire council area. The locality covers around 152 square kilometres of prime agricultural land and is part of the rich southern wheat and sheep belt of NSW. With a population of just 80 residents and a median household income of around $38,700, Trungley Hall is a quiet, tightly-knit farming community that has maintained its agricultural character for well over a century.
The locality is defined by its mixed farming operations, including broadacre cropping, sheep stud enterprises, wool and lamb production, and fodder cultivation. Trungley Hall holds a small piece of Lutheran heritage — the congregation was established around 1893 by families who settled in the area then known as Duck Creek, with the current church building dating to 1910 and a church hall added in 1949. The township of Temora, approximately 18 kilometres to the south, provides residents with access to schools, supermarkets, medical services, and the Temora Aviation Museum.
Trungley Hall falls under postcode 2666 and is governed by the local council Council (LGA). For state elections, residents vote in the Cootamundra electorate.
