About Turlinjah
Turlinjah is a small rural locality in the Bega Valley Shire of the NSW South Coast, situated in the hinterland approximately 15 kilometres north-west of Moruya. The locality covers around 13 square kilometres of quiet pastoral land and bush on the undulating terrain between the Princes Highway and the Deua River. With a very small resident population, Turlinjah is a peaceful semi-rural enclave in one of NSW's most scenic coastal hinterland regions. The surrounding Bega Valley Shire is known for its diverse landscapes of beaches, rivers, rainforest and farmland.
Residents of Turlinjah enjoy the tranquillity of rural life while being a short drive from the amenities of Moruya, which offers supermarkets, schools, a hospital and the Moruya Airport. The broader Eurobodalla region on the NSW Far South Coast is a popular destination for sea-changers and retirees drawn to the relaxed lifestyle, beautiful beaches and outdoor recreation opportunities. The Deua National Park and nearby Eurobodalla National Park provide excellent bushwalking, fishing and nature experiences for locals.
