Wando Vale is a rural district in western Victoria, located approximately 8 kilometres north-east of Casterton within the Glenelg Shire. The locality covers a large area of around 108 square kilometres and had a population of 96 at the 2021 census, reflecting its character as a sparsely settled pastoral region. The area takes its name from the historic Wando Vale pastoral run, first taken up by John G. Robertson in 1840, and the district retains strong connections to its agricultural heritage.
