Wingham is a historic town on the Manning River in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, 329 km north-east of Sydney and 13 km north-west of Taree. With a population of 5,395 at the 2021 census, it is one of the oldest towns in the region, proclaimed as a village in 1844. Wingham sits within the Mid-Coast Council area and serves as a key service centre for surrounding rural communities.

The town is known for its heritage streetscape, the Manning Valley Historical Society museum, and the Wingham Brush Nature Reserve — a remnant subtropical rainforest.
