About Woodbridge

Woodbridge is a compact residential suburb of Perth located within the City of Swan, approximately 18 kilometres north-east of the Perth CBD. Formerly known as West Midland, the suburb was officially gazetted in March 2001 and takes its name from Governor James Stirling's 1829 land grant. With a population of 1,207 as of the 2021 census and covering just 1.4 square kilometres, Woodbridge is a well-established inner-metropolitan suburb notable for its historic character and riverfront setting along the Swan River.
