Boolcarroll is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Narrabri Shire of north-western New South Wales, situated approximately 45 kilometres south-west of Narrabri. Covering around 142 square kilometres of flat to gently undulating terrain, the locality sits on the Liverpool Plains–Namoi River plain at an elevation of roughly 220 metres. With a recorded population of just 25 residents in the 2021 census, Boolcarroll is one of the most thinly settled localities in the region.
