Broomehill East is a rural locality in the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup, situated in Western Australia's Great Southern region approximately 320 kilometres south-east of Perth. The locality adjoins the small agricultural town of Broomehill and is bounded to the west largely by the Great Southern Highway, which serves as the main arterial road through the region. Covering an area of around 537 square kilometres, Broomehill East is one of WA's larger but most sparsely populated localities, with 109 residents engaged primarily in broadacre farming.

Broadacre cropping — predominantly wheat — and sheep grazing are the defining industries of Broomehill East, and the locality is home to a Cooperative Bulk Handling (CBH) grain receival site. The area is also a starting point for the Horsepower Highway, a celebrated 75-kilometre tourist route featuring vintage tractors and rural artworks that winds through to the border of the Stirling Range National Park. Katanning, the nearest major service town around 20 kilometres to the north, provides schools, medical services, and retail facilities for local residents. The region's agricultural heritage and proximity to the Stirling Range make it a distinctive corner of WA's Great Southern.
