Burncluith is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, situated approximately 26 kilometres north-east of Chinchilla and 313 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Covering 313 square kilometres of agricultural land, the locality recorded a population of 137 at the 2021 census. The area is characterised by broad-acre farming and grazing country typical of the Western Downs, with the Chinchilla–Wondai Road providing the main route through the district.
