Goshen is a rural locality in north-east Tasmania, situated approximately 11 kilometres north-west of the coastal town of St Helens within the Break O'Day local government area. With a population of 95 at the 2021 Census, it covers a substantial 164 square kilometres of predominantly agricultural and bushland terrain. The Scamander River forms the locality's south-western boundary, and the area has been settled since the mid-19th century, with the name gazetted in 1964.
The Tasman Highway passes through Goshen, providing a direct route to St Helens and further along Tasmania's scenic east coast. The locality offers a peaceful rural setting with proximity to the Blue Tier conservation area, known for its mountain biking trails and old-growth rainforest.
