Innisplain is a small rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, situated approximately 25.8 kilometres south-south-west of Beaudesert and 95 kilometres south-south-west of Brisbane CBD in the Logan River headwaters country. The locality covers 22.9 square kilometres of rolling subtropical hinterland and recorded a population of 79 at the 2021 census, comprising farming families and rural-residential residents on pastoral and hobby farm properties. Part of the Logan River system drains through the Innisplain area, contributing to the broader Scenic Rim's celebrated network of freshwater streams and forested ranges. The locality's paddocks and oaky scrub country are visible along Oaky Scrub Road, the main thoroughfare through the district.
