Innot Hot Springs is a small rural town and locality in the Tablelands Region of Far North Queensland, situated approximately 145 kilometres south-west of Cairns and around 15.7 kilometres east of Mount Garnet. The locality covers nearly 698 square kilometres of tropical hinterland within the Tablelands Regional Council area and recorded a population of 189 at the 2021 Census. It lies within the federal Division of Kennedy and the state electoral district of Hill, reflecting its position deep in the Far North Queensland interior.
The town takes its name from the naturally heated geothermic pools on Nettle Creek, which are a draw for travellers and caravaners passing through the Atherton Tablelands. The hot springs offer a free and accessible soak in mineral-rich waters reaching temperatures around 75°C at the source. Beyond the springs, the locality is surrounded by sweeping tropical savanna and pastoral land, with Ravenshoe (approximately 30 kilometres west-south-west) and Atherton (about 80 kilometres north-east) serving as the nearest towns with broader services and amenities.
