Kudla is a small locality in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, located approximately 34 kilometres from the city centre in the Town of Gawler local government area. Situated just south of Gawler, it covers a compact area of around 6.4 square kilometres and recorded a population of 551 at the 2021 census. The suburb is bounded by Main North Road, Dalkeith Road, Angle Vale Road and Gordon Road. Its name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning "level ground" or "open", approved in 1982 after the existing Kudla railway station.
