Mount Lloyd is a small rural locality in the Derwent Valley Council area of southern Tasmania, situated approximately 16 kilometres south-west of the historic town of New Norfolk. Covering just over 100 square kilometres of hilly, forested terrain, the locality had a 2021 Census population of 78 residents and is characterised by its remote bushland setting amid the western slopes of the Derwent Valley. The area is bounded in part by the Plenty River to the west, with the Plenty Valley Road providing the main access route through the locality.
