Nerriga is a remote rural village in the Shoalhaven hinterland of New South Wales, located approximately 80 kilometres west of Nowra on the Nerriga Road. The locality spans a large area of 134 square kilometres with a very small population of around 77 people. Sitting on the Southern Tablelands at an elevation that brings cool winters, Nerriga is one of the more isolated communities in southern NSW.
The village has a pub, a small community hall, and serves as a stop-off point for travellers between the coast and Braidwood.
