Ranges Bridge is a large rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, situated west of Dalby along the Dalby–Kogan Road. With a population of 98 residents at the 2021 Census, the locality covers a substantial 154.6 square kilometres of predominantly flat farming country. The locality takes its name from a historic bridge over the Condamine River, where Mrs Mary J. Range operated the Bridge Hotel from at least 1865. Today Ranges Bridge is a productive mixed farming area, with deep black self-mulching soils supporting cropping and cattle grazing along the Condamine River floodplain. Residents rely on nearby Dalby for shopping, schools, healthcare, and services, with the Dalby–Kogan Road providing the main transport link through the locality.
