Suttontown is a north-western suburb of Mount Gambier, a city in the south-east of South Australia, within the Limestone Coast region. The locality spans approximately 33.8 square kilometres and is administered jointly by the District Council of Grant and the City of Mount Gambier. With a 2021 Census population of 692, Suttontown is a semi-rural fringe community adjacent to Mount Gambier that includes both residential pockets and surrounding farmland. Originally known as Sutton Town, the suburb's boundaries were formalised in 1999.
Suttontown sits on the outskirts of Mount Gambier, giving residents convenient access to the city's full range of services including schools, hospitals, shopping, and the renowned Blue Lake — a volcanic crater lake that is one of the region's most iconic natural attractions.
