Timmering is a rural locality in northern Victoria, situated within Campaspe Shire approximately 12 kilometres north of Rochester and around 160 kilometres north of Melbourne. Covering around 90 square kilometres of flat agricultural land in the Victorian Riverina bioregion, the locality had a population of 90 at the 2021 Census with a median taxable income of approximately 8,000, reflecting its agricultural economic base. The landscape is characterised by cropping paddocks, grazing properties, and open plains typical of the Murray–Darling basin country.
