Wolfang is a remote pastoral locality in the Isaac Region of Central Queensland, encompassing approximately 851 square kilometres of open grazing land and characterised by the dramatic volcanic formation of Wolfang Peak. The locality takes its name from the historic Wolfang pastoral station, established in the 19th century and named after the prominent 572-metre rhyolite peak visible from the Peak Downs Highway near Clermont. With a 2021 Census population of 84 residents across this vast area, Wolfang represents the quintessential Queensland outback station country. The Isaac Region, under the Isaac Regional Council, is economically driven by coal mining, cattle grazing, and primary industry.

The defining natural feature of Wolfang is Wolfang Peak, a striking volcanic plug rising above the surrounding flat agricultural land within the Peak Range National Park, accessible by foot from the Peak Downs Highway.
