Butchers Creek is a small rural locality on the eastern escarpment of the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland, approximately 15.7 kilometres north-west of Malanda and 78 kilometres south-west of Cairns. Part of the Tablelands Regional Council area, it recorded a population of 85 residents in the 2021 Census, spread across approximately 27 square kilometres of tropical highland country. The locality sits at the interface between the dense rainforests of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and the fertile farming land of the Tablelands.
