Gadgarra is a remote rural locality in the Tablelands Region of Far North Queensland, situated approximately 47.5 km south-southwest of Cairns and 24.5 km southwest of Gordonvale. Covering around 127 square kilometres of rugged tropical rainforest terrain at elevation, it recorded zero permanent residents in the 2021 census. The locality sits within one of Australia's most biodiverse regions, wedged between the Wet Tropics World Heritage rainforests and the Atherton Tablelands.
