Wutunugurra, also known as Canteen Creek, is a remote Aboriginal community located in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory, administered by the Barkly Regional Council. Situated in the semi-arid interior of the NT, the community covers less than one square kilometre and had a 2021 Census population of 143 residents. The community is located on a pastoral excision of a local pastoral station, deep in the outback landscape typical of the Barkly Tableland.
The Barkly region is home to the Alyawarr and related Aboriginal peoples, and Wutunugurra is a significant community for local First Nations culture and identity.
