Wallace Rockhole is a small Aboriginal community located 120 kilometres west-southwest of Alice Springs in the MacDonnell Region of the Northern Territory. Situated within the Western MacDonnell Ranges and forming part of the Ljirapinta Ward alongside nearby Hermannsburg, the community is home to the Western Arrarnta people and has a population of approximately 87 residents. The settlement was founded in 1973 as an outstation of the Hermannsburg Mission by the Abbott family, and was formally returned to Aranda ownership as part of land rights reforms. The community is surrounded by the dramatic red rock landscape of the West MacDonnell National Park.
